The purpose of this position is to oversee the implementation of biomarker strategy to support global clinical development , to set standards and best practices across organization, and to drive continuous improvement, facilitate/oversee global functional team collaborations, to ensure high quality and uniform incorporation of biomarker components in clinical study protocols, to ensure the timely delivery of high quality biomarker data in support of clinical decision making and regulatory submissions and publications. This position also has the oversight for the evaluation and incorporation of new platforms and technologies on a rolling basis.

  • Oversees implementation of biomarker strategy for global clinical development by leading and supervising a group of Clinical Biomarker Scientists
  • Facilitates/oversees global functional team collaborations, maintains relationships
  • Provides oversight for the evaluation and incorporation of new platforms and technologies key input to regulatory
  • Writes/reviews biomarker components of clinical study protocols and biomarker sections in NDA; Reviews biomarker data (quality oversight) and reports from quality and compliance perspectives
  • Provides significant mentorship and people development

Qualifications: Successful candidates will be able to meet the qualifications below with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Education Qualifications (from an accredited college or university)
PhD in Life Sciences or related field. preferred Oncology expertise and clinical biomarker expertise required

Experience Qualifications
  • 10 or More Years industry experience. preferred
  • Internal and/or external managerial skills expected preferred
