The length of this internship position is estimated for 12 months at approximately 20 hours per week. The Business Intelligence and Data Management Intern will assist the IT Business Intelligence and Data Management team with support on projects by:
  • Participating in the requirement gathering sessions
  • Analyzing available data sources
  • Analyzing the quality of incoming data
  • Providing inputs into the design of reports and dashboards
  • Testing reports and dashboards for data accuracy
In this role you will be preparing routine and ad hoc data extractions from the data warehouse, providing scheduled and ad hoc reports, dashboards and analysis summaries. There will also be opportunities to present routine information/data to internal and external clients.

You will be working with PowerBI and Informatica, so prior experience in these applications is preferred.

Education/Experience
Graduate students enrolled in a Master’s degree program in Computer Science or related field; strong analytics skills and interest in working on real world business solutions, ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities, experience manipulating and analyzing data sets is preferred, hard-working self-motivated individual who can work with little direction.
