Job Summary:

The Brand Director, US Marketing, Iron Franchise - LCM will be responsible for formulating and executing the expansion market strategy for the Iron Franchise. The Brand Director will focus on identifying additional opportunities for HCP targeting, patient types, and dosing options to remain competitive. Specifically, this role will assist in expanding into Women’s Health space with core responsibilities including development of appropriate messaging for both HCP and patient segment, and helping the organization maximize its efforts within this space. The Brand Director for Iron Franchise will have A&P responsibilities for executing on strategy and managing additional resources as they become available. In addition, the Brand Director will be the strategic lead for evaluation of additional LCM strategies within the current referral and infusion space.

  • Working with a cross-functional team and an alliance partner (if applicable), initiate and lead market development activities and marketing expansion into the Women’s Health space. Effectively communicate the strategy with commercial leadership. Appropriately manage vendors utilized in the execution of market development activities.
  • Lead commercial assessment and if appropriate the execution of new formulations within the marketplace. Partner with medical affairs, market research, marketing and sales leadership to effectively evaluate and execute.
  • Evaluate mid to longer term LCM strategies to maximize future product growth
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to senior management on all aspects of organizational launch readiness and lead change management

  • Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; MBA preferred - marketing, finance.
  • Minimum 10 years pharmaceutical experience required, at least 7 of which are in product management or comparable function
  • woman’s health marketing experience preferred
  • Market Research/Market Assessment launch experience preferred
  • Buy and Bill experience is preferred
  • Prior people management experience a plus
  • Previous experience working in an alliance a plus
  • Sales, sales management experience a plus
  • Must have excellent oral, written, interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Must have the demonstrated ability to multi-task
  • Must have the demonstrated ability to be creative and problem solve and to work independently
  • Strong financial and analytical skills required
  • Thorough understanding of the commercial evaluation process
  • Strategic and operational marketing experience
  • Ability to operate effectively and efficiently on cross-functional teams, Understanding of scientific issues as they impact product development and commercialization.
