Job Summary:
Individual will support the strategic planning and execution for Cancer Enterprise branding including key congresses and digital activities. Individual will cooperate closely with the Global Brand Teams, Global Medical Affairs and agencies to ensure the successful and smooth organization of global congresses.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the planning and execution of all key oncology congress-related activities across multi-disciplinary teams (eg. R&D, Medical, Marketing and global colleagues) to ensure alignment and maximization of activities in support of Cancer Enterprise. The responsibility includes convening regular planning meetings with members of the key functions involved to coordinate things such as booth planning and logistics, booth staffing, scientific sessions, thought leader meetings, media events and competitive intelligence. Other functions will lead these activities but the person in this role will coordinate and ensure that all aligns with Cancer Enterprise branding and objectives.
  • Support development and implementation of Cancer Enterprise tactics including the development of Cancer Enterprise brand guidelines, key messaging, communication platform that includes website development, media initiatives and public relations initiatives.
  • Facilitate consistency of communications across all Cancer Enterprise functions aligned with the Cancer Enterprise branding.
  • Support vendor management and budget control and evaluation of individual congress projects.
  • Ensure all strategies, tactics, and activities are compliant with DS policies.
Qualifications
Successful candidates will be able to meet the qualifications below with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Education/Experience:
Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, emphasis in health sciences is preferred; MBA or advanced scientific degree is preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry or comparable education/work experience, including minimum 2 years brand marketing or comparable education/work experience required; 1-2 years field sales or medical liaison, 1-2 years analytical, and 1-2 years cross-functional experience (e.g., managed markets, new product planning, business analytics; or equivalent preferred).

Oncology therapeutic area experience preferred. Familiarity with global and key regional oncology commercial markets and environments preferred.

Demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills, presentation skills, networking, collaboration, negotiation and influencing skills.

Solid problem solving and decision-making skills.

Proven skills in project planning and management.

Demonstrated ability to contribute to operational plans.

Compliance acumen; demonstrated understanding of the legal and regulatory environment.

Ability to travel up to 25%
