Job Summary:

Prepare pre-launch market access readiness plans for Oncology assets, including the future lung franchise. Extensive involvement with the global market access and US and global brand teams to ensure input for successful launch of lung portfolio in US. Support and lead appropriate primary and secondary market access research to identify challenges and optimize opportunities in evolving US market access landscape.


Leads the development, and implementation of Payer Marketing promotional campaigns including the messages and program materials to be used by Account Managers and Sales Representatives with assigned customer segments.

Provide US perspective on pipeline lung portfolio as it relates to market access. Requires working cross functionally with all relevant internal stakeholders (US and Global Market Access, Marketing, Medical and HEOR teams) to understand optimal positioning for minimal access barriers in US. Key access barriers include pathways, EMR, system and hospital protocols and formularies, GPOs and medical policy.

Understand current/future competitive landscape and US government policy and how it may impact access in US for lung ADC pipeline portfolio. Provide recommendations and analysis to MA leadership monthly.
Identify RWE and any evidence gaps necessary to support successful US launch. Requires cross functional collaboration with US HEOR, global MA and brand teams to identify areas of opportunity.

Account Manager material support for value message and pull through: visual aids, value decks and other brand messaging campaign elements/materials for each promotional period (POA) including non-personal materials to support Customer Care Center. Responsible for the development and implementation of pre-launch materials and disease state campaigns for launch approaching brands.

Identify access generating tools (assisting Account Managers ability to meet with targeted customers): customer-mediated formulary adherence initiatives, market expansion programs including speaker bureaus.

Responsible for ensuring close collaboration with Brand teams and co-promote partners (if applicable) in order to generate success as defined by KPIs in targeted Managed Market accounts and monitored via marketing feedback systems by taking a leadership role within Brand Teams and co-promote partners. Ensures that all strategies and tactics as well as marketing mix align with the Brands’ goals and objectives.

Regulatory approvals: Responsible for PMRT (Product Material Review Team)ARC (Advertising Review Committee) and PGC (Promotional Grant Committee) process management related to projects and programs.
Work with Alliance and co-promote partners to ensure strategic alignment on pre-launch activities.

Prepare pre-launch engagements for Account management teams including disease state awareness and Pre-approval Information Exchange (PIE). Requires working collaboratively with the Market Access Training team to ensure appropriate training for external customer interaction.

Contributes to the POA process for Managed Markets Account Managers/Sales Representatives across the portfolio for assigned customer segments or brands.

Bachelor's Degree required. MBA preferred

4 or more years' market research or business analysis function, managed care or market access functions, brand marketing (within the pharmaceutical industry) and/or relevant experience obtained through a Fellowship program or similar program required.

1 or More Years pharmaceutical managed care sales/account management, sales training or brand marketing, pricing and access experience preferred
