Our Culture Sets Us Apart

We know that our success is linked to the success of our employees. Each member of our organization contributes to our pursuit of our goals and our company vision. We hold ourselves to high standards in a competitive industry – but our culture sets us apart. Daiichi Sankyo is proud to foster an environment of collaboration and ideas.

Our Benefits

Our Core Values:

Culture Icon1

Delivers business results through continuous improvement, creativity, and flexibility.

Culture Icon2

Shows the highest standards of personal and professional conduct. Shows respect and appreciation for others and honors individual differences.

Culture Icon3

Consistently follows through on commitments. Pushes self and others to achieve business objectives. Sets goals and manages priorities.

A Commitment to Excellence

Continuous improvement is one of the ideals that guides us. To that end, we encourage employees to learn and grow through assignments and through training, and constantly to set their sites higher.

We also value recognition, and say “thank you” – or “Arigato” – to our employees for their efforts, through internal recognition and competitive compensation.

Daiichi Sankyo offers the opportunity to learn, to grow and to explore new ways of thinking. It's a respectful yet challenging environment, where we work together to help our patients, our partners, and one another.

Culture Thumb1

Moving Forward by Giving Back

Our commitment to improving lives is the core of our business, but it doesn’t end with our products and pipeline. We are proud members of the communities in which we live and work, as individuals and as an organization. Through corporate philanthropy, community service, patient assistance and more, we’re moving forward by giving back.

Culture Icon4

Volunteer Commitment Program

Our employees demonstrate passion for improving lives through their own volunteer efforts. We recognize those employees who donate their personal time to non-profit organizations and designate those non-profits to receive a donation.

Culture Icon5

Employee Activity Committee (EAC)

The EAC consists of Daiichi Sankyo employees who volunteer their time by organizing monthly events and programs throughout the year. Our main goal is to plan activities that facilitate staff interaction and promote positive relationships among peers.

Culture Icon6

Matching Gifts Program

Many employees take the opportunity to double their personal contributions to eligible charitable organizations by including a Matching Gifts application along with their own donation, from $100 to $1000 annually.
